Addiction is a hip hop duo consisting of twins Aaron and Sharon Igho, who were born in the UK and raised in Jos, Nigeria. They have been interested in music since their childhood and at the age of twelve made their first forays into pursuing a career in the industry by composing various singles.

The pair was first noticed in 2005 after performing on television with Ruggedman and 2Face. Their media presence increased after this appearance and they went on to participate in shows and events such as “Night of a Thousand Laughs” and the Calabar Carnival.

Officially forming their group in 2008, they eventually signed to the label Zakudia Records, with James Olanipekun as their manager, and have been making their presence felt on the Abuja entertainment scene. Their hit singles include “Down Low”, “Show” and “Who Be Dat”.

They released a music video for the latter track which was first screened at the unveiling ceremony of the Lagos Oriental Hotel. Attending the event were former Big Brother housemates Millicent Mugadi and Katung.

They have toured throughout Abuja, Jos, Calabar, Benue and Taraba and will hit the Big Brother Africa stage this Sunday at the Sofa Lounge Party. Make sure you don’t miss them!
