The tone in the house became sombre when JJ sang an emotional song, inadvertently bringing down Kacey Moore's spirits. JJ consoled him and the conversation took a deep turn. It seems the housemates enjoy swinging from jubilation to grave meditations on life.
An immediate distraction from the blues is often food. JJ's philosophies may be more complex, but the rest of the housemates decided to move to the kitchen and rustle up some grub. When it comes to the hotshots, too many cooks don’t spoil the pot and they sidled through the kitchen with ease.
Unfortunately, Kacey Moore could not pull himself out of his slump, and Permithias took it in his turn to comfort him. Sabina also tried her hand, trying to coax him into telling her what was wrong. She succeeded and he opened up, admitting he missed his family. She comforted him with her own rendition of Can't Take My Eyes Off You, inserting his child’s name into the song.
Sabina astounded everyone with her voice, and Kacey Moore joined her, playing a slow, sad tune on his guitar. He felt better and thanked her, but remained rooted to the bed, lost in his thoughts. Will Kacey Moore get his groove back or slide deeper into his melancholy?
