Twelve housemates received 0 country votes, which means that the tie breaker rule came into effect.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">According to the Big Brother Africa rules: if the Popularity vote does not yield clear evictees and there is a deadlock between 2 or more housemates, the percentage vote from each of the 15 regions will be added together and divided by 14 in order to generate an across-the-board percentage, which will then ascertain who stays and who goes.</span></span><br />

Having only just set foot in Big Brother’s lavish House, these news came as a shock.</span></span></div>

Most except for Resa, who passed her unease onto bosom buddy Sipe.</span></span></div>

It was not the first time Resa had raised speculation since the announcement. The feisty Zambian poet even suggested that Biggie wouldn’t dare kick anyone out after just one week.</span></span></div>

She entered Big Brother Hotshots in the hope of winning the grand prize and being able to pay off her mother's debts. "She has moved heaven and earth to ensure that I get my honours degree and in the process she has incurred debts," says Resa.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">She's "extremely nervous, but delighted at the same time" at the prospect of having the continent's eyes on her 24/7. She says the viewers can expect "realness" from her. "No pretence, I'm an open book, I don't hide my struggles because they've shaped me into who I am and I've used them as stepping stones," she says. "Also, lots of dancing and definitely lots of laughter!"</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">Resa describes herself as "unique, colourful, bubbly, random and hyper", saying that her inquisitive nature means that she won't suffer in silence. "I'm apologetic, my outspoken nature, I'm a go-getter, open-minded and spontaneous," she says.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: large;">The Zambian says her motto is "close to perfect" because close is good enough. She is going to miss her boyfriend's hugs and may just impress fellow housemates with her cooking. </span></span></div>
